Steven James Meidenbauer

Floating somewhere between alt rock and psychedelic pop, Steven James hovers. The Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and producer explores classic electric sounds, raw tones, and simple structures reverberating in a dream-like haze.

In 2020, James’s debut EP Lazy Gay emerged through self-produced bedroom tracks. With Easy in 2021, Steven refined his sound and embraced the liminality of power pop to produce a record that harkens back to the sermon of days gone by. Follow Steven on Instagram.
