Spotlight on: Cr Hollis

I recently released a small collection of garments under the name CR Hollis. Four of these pieces, which I have fully designed and patterned myself, will be made-to-order and available in extended sizing, alongside a few other one-off reworked items. I am (clearly) quite inspired by and drawn to color and exaggerated shapes. I wanted to create a collection of garments that could be layered into one's wardrobe.

November is a big month for me. I just opened my first brick-and-mortar shop at 3714 N. Williams Avenue in Portland, Oregon. The shop serves as a showroom for my garments and one-offs, as well as other local garment designers, ceramicists, and jewelry makers—all creating one-of-a-kind pieces. The CR Hollis space will neighbor my mentor Shana Tabor's creative space and shop, where she will be works one-on-one with clients to create custom jewelry from their heirloom pieces.
