Excerpts from “Goofy Mass”

Our bodies have physical limits in the present. But in animation bodies distort, multiply, and break apart freely. My body flies, has extra holes, and switches between audience and actor in my dreams. My body is in two places at once in my memories. When not in the present the body is a goofy mass, and I’m using that visual language to explore my memories and dreams.
